Thai Pass site should not allow multiple applications with the same passport number. I am not a coder but I don't think it is a challenge to do that. I waited 4 days after my first application and saw others apply 5 times, then I started worrying about system being overloaded 6 days to my departure date so I myslef applied 3 more times and one of them got the code within 2 hr.

I agree with what they try to do "in good times with strong economy and jobs". But as you know thailand is now risking covid19 fight by bringing people across the world to thailand just to boost their almost dead tourism and economy. So a resonable one would expect that they act smarter and keep those good tourists with money and vaccine inside thailand not send them out the country. Almost shooting themselves in the foot. No other explanation

yes absolutely! I applied on Nov 2, then applied 3 more times on Nov 5 th. I am happy I did because the second application was rejected with comment "insurance page does not mention min $50,000 usd coverage". If I waited my first application it would have failed as I used the same insurance doc. I quickly changed the insurance info and applied 2 more times and one was accepted within 2 hours. You should do the same.

they never ever give a solid reason. After submitting everything in a way they like, they are still not convinced. I think all this stuff depends on the staff or consulate handling the application

I wrote this in another thread, be prepared; Los Angeles Consulate literally forced me to accept a 90 day tourist visa instead of the STV visa I applied for. I had 100% perfect application, all docs complete. I just somehow don't fit to their STV criteria eventhough all my docs do! Good luck if you have to apply LA consulate for STV !!

I sense some absurdity here. This is the government that tries to revitalize economy with STV long stay visa and promote tourism by just one day quarantine. Yet, they torture tourist visa holders and obstruct their wishes to stay longer. What an irony. Can't they just extend the TV if the holder has funds, vaccination etc.. So strange, backwards thinking

Almost all Thai immigration transactions depends on the mood of the officer or their boss. I was given hard time at airports by female officers, now I know not to line up in front of them. In short I would switch to another immigration office if you can, most likely they will treat you differently.

In the email that comes with QR code it says bring digital or hard copy. They are able to scan the code from your phone's screen

re-apply a few more times. My QR code came within 2 hr after applying for 3rd time. There is no harm to applying a few times. You might use a different Gmail account or the same

yes, since I won't dare to mess up with Thai side I will get RT-PCR and hope Singapore airlines will be OK with it
