Not in Jomtien. Immigration told me they don't do it here, and to deal with it at the airport

Where can I transfer my DTV stamp when getting a new passport in Thailand?

I just went to Jomtien immigration to ask about this. I got a new passport while in Thailand. I thought immigration would at least need to transfer my arrival stamp, but they said they don't transfer anything (stamps or visa) for DTV.
