I have been going to Thailand for 25 years, but only for 3 weeks each year. I was there in February this year and then I could leave Thailand again via an automatic gate and I did not have to go to the immigration officer, so I thought that arriving in Thailand would be the same

now that since May 1st you have to register 3 days before arrival via TDAC (Thailand digital arrival card) do you still have to pass an immigration officer upon arrival? I didn't think so, I thought this should be completely automatic, is this correct?

every time I go will never be longer than 30 days, the 3 times I would like to go will indeed never be more than 90 days in a year, so if I understand correctly I can safely assume that I will never have any problems
