As I understand it: come with 60 day visa excempt and go further from that one does not need health insurance for the in country NON O and it´s extension. Whereas arriving on an NON O single and getting 1 year extension requires approved health insurance?
Thanks. But I did not mean type of visa, I ment way of proofing funds for non O retire. Wehther there would be a difference proofing income or showing 800.000 on a thai bank. Tax related difference. But thanks, I learnt about DTA to investigate further.
I am staying 90 days without a visa. came from vienna and had an buyonwardticket booked just in case. (was not needed neither for check in [EVA] nor Immi. Get a 30-day extension before your 60 days end or leave the country and come back with another 60 days visa excempt.
I arrived with a eva return ticket (89 day) 23rd september. Online chick in: I left the Visa section empty, as I entered on a visa exempt. Online check in was successfull and physical check in: not a word asked! Arrival BKK: Not a word asked! I had my onward ticket prepared, was not needed. But good feeling for 10$.
