Should add any trips out of thailand after 16 July 2020 (the visa use by date) you will need a re-entry permit to keep the admitted until date valid.

If you haven't already get a 60day extension for 'family visit' from immigration when they open after the new year , this'll give you 2 months to sort a new passport.
