I thought I read where you need to make an appointment to renew your retirement visa? I usually go and take my turn and hopefully obtain a multiple re-entry permit the same day which often takes hours but that is what I have been doing for a few years. I cannot find the post about making an appointment so just checking - THANK YOU!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires if an appointment is necessary to renew a retirement visa, as they usually wait in line for their turn and handle multiple re-entry permits on the same day. Comments confirm that while an appointment is not mandatory, it is an option, and visiting immigration offices currently has shorter wait times.
