Thailand allows only one active visa at a time.

If you take the job, you must switch to Non-B + Work Permit.

It is still under consideration at the moment.

Currently, the visa exemption allows a stay in Thailand for up to 60 days, until an official announcement is made.

Hi, sharing from experience handling DTV cases.

For Canadians, DTV has to be applied for outside Thailand, usually through the Thai Consulate in Vancouver. A lawyer isn’t really needed unless the case is complex and many people just use a visa consultant to help check the documents.

The 500,000 THB is generally for the main applicant only, not per child, though the consulate will look at overall family finances.

Homeschooling is fine if the kids come in as dependents. No Education Visa needed.

Yes, you can apply for a UK visa in Bangkok while holding a DTV.

As long as you are legally staying in Thailand, this is acceptable.

Applications are submitted through VFS Global Bangkok.

Normally, the processing time is 10–15 business days, depending on the Thai embassy or consulate handling your visa application.

If you don’t mind, could I ask you a few quick questions?

What’s your age, where are you currently based, and can you share a short summary of your travel history in 2025?

This will help me understand your situation better and suggest the right visa options for you.
