What argument? I haven't seen one. I've lived in Thailand for 15 years and haven't witnessed any "farang bashing" but I know a few sensitive precious people who believe Thais hate them. Sometimes people need to grow a backbone!

You cannot be a permanent tourist in Thailand on continuous visa-exempt or TR visas. Your best strategy is to get the Elite Visa. No-one can say how immigration will decide the next time you try to enter, but it seems your card is already marked so expect at the very least to be questioned and be prepared to be denied entry. Best to be prepared for that eventuality
