 Embassies don't make the rules. They're just way out of date. People are doing back to back 30+30's continually

 There's no legislated maximum time for visa exempt entries. The 90 in 180 was abolished about 15 years ago. Very easy to get 2 x visa exempt entries and extensions giving 120 days consecutive. No problem.
