I would say tourist is down vs this time last year. I have spoken with locals and they agreed. The working girls also seem very aggressive when walk past. I assume night life spending is down.

Just start now. My first application took less than 2 weeks approved. I messed up and had to redo and the second time took 3 weeks with more questions. If your paper work is all aligned clear and highlighted the process can be fast. It becomes difficult and long when you need to keep fixing or adding documents.

Leatrice Mc-Gerald you might as well. The hard part is getting all the documents. Which you need to do either way. The agency isn’t going to pull your bank records or employment records…… the hardest part for me was remembering passwords and getting access while being abroad.

Do it your self it’s easy. You already need to gather all the information, so why pay so one else to do it if you did the hardest part already? Just take what the embassy ask for put it all in a PDF label and highlight.

Department of Consular Affairs, it's what my girl said to do go. I will go since I already have the appointment. However worst case I am in the same situation. I will stay in Bangkok my whole 60 days. I do not feel like going straight back to Vietnam.

Thanks. I did Email the HCMC embassy this afternoon. I wasn't expecting a response immediately. So I will just wait for a response.

Honestly depends on your plans. I live in $2-3k a month. But if you plan to party every night, get bar girls, fall for tourist traps, eat at rooftop bars every dinner…. maybe expect to spend more.
