They pulled me to one side, waited for superior to come over

He checked my passport and sent me on my way , as it was a genuine mistake

Most you’ll have to do is pay 500 baht.

It’s because you’re applying when you hopped out the country in Vietnam.

I applied when I went back to the UK, all came through in 2 days.

Maybe youve already previously been in Thailand too long on tourist visas

There could be multiple reasons …..

Yep. It’s easy to apply for and a great visa.( I applied for mine quickly and easily in the uk, evisa online)

5 years.

Multi entry.

180 days per time which automatically starts again when you reenter the country, or extend another 180 days at immigration for 1900bht.

haha same! I got it back in July and flew here in august. I was like, I’ve got it now, they can’t back out or change anything 😅👌🏼

what? It’s a straight forward process. I got mine approved in July. All done online.

I’ve now got a 5 year multi entry DTV visa. 180 days per time to stay in the country.
