it was nearly 16 years ago, there were some forms but the whole process was straight forward.

I suggest that you call the embassy, it might be more productive for your wife to call them. Thai national.

Don't worry though. It'll be arranged by them, it did take quite some time from what I remember though.

my two daughters, one born in Thailand one born out of Thailand.

Daughter born outside of Thailand has a Thai birth cert, we applied via the embassy in the country of birth.

Gained both birth certificate and passport outside of Thailand.

Please contact the Thai Embassy, section for Thai nationals.

I don't have a link for England though.

She was born in Singapore

Not bothering due to mad times and travelling with my disabled daughter.

My family has not been home for 2.5 years.

See the family and have a holiday at the same time.

Hoping for some easier way of passage middle 2022.

Main worry is not being able to enter the country we live in overseas, bring foreigners the risk of getting problems returning overseas are too much, plus travelling with a severely mentally disabled person would be utter madness now.

that's right, 'mangsawirat'. One of the first Thai words I learnt 25 years ago. Was limited to mainly veg fried rice at the time although fish sauce was just about impossible to avoid.

Hi. My wife (Thai) and I (UK) have been married for almost 20 years but have lived mainly in Singapore and Malaysia. We were married in Singapore and our marriage is not registered in Thailand. I understand that it requires registration at the Amphur office that my wife's Tambian Ban is under. Our marriage certificate is in English so I had a translation into Thai made, this was then endorsed by the Royal Thai Embassy here in Singapore.
