Tell that to Immigration. I flew in and was told that They would give me a 30 day visa as opposed to the 90 day APEC visa I was entitled to, I was setting up an office in Thailand. I returned to Australia and applied for a work visa. My point is they should put limits on the number of days on a 'Visa exempt" entry per year.

I was told there is a limit of two entries in a calendar year. This makes sense and they should formalise this policy.
