I just looked and it appears to me that I cant apply for a multiple entry non o Visa anymore as I am under 50. What the hell am I supposed to do now, I've been living here for 17 years, wife, child, house etc. Am I now to apply for a new Visa every few months when I want to come back to my family? This is getting ridiculous.
Thanks Tod. The consulate gave me the impression I could obtain a multiple entry permit or something like that when I arrive. I'll speak to them again when I get to the consulate and if it's only good for 1 single entry I'll have to make other arrangements. Thanks for your help.
Cheers. The only question I really need answered is this:
I have done these extensions at Jomtien immigration before with no problems. However, since the rules have been enforced about reporting your address within 24hrs of arrival I have only done it once. On that occasion we had to queue for ages with everyone else and pay the fine for not doing so.
My question is this.
Now I do report every time I enter, would I still need to go through that queuing procedure or just do the extension like I used to?
