If I want to come in on a visa exempt entry and want to extend for a couple of weeks based on marriage, as I have done previously, would I still need to queue for ages at the room where they check if you registered when arriving in the country? I do register online so no worries there. I just need to know if you can just tell them you have registered your address and do the normal extension procedure without having to wait in that room off to the side in Jomtien ? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their visa exempt entry in Thailand based on marriage and whether they can bypass the registration queue at Jomtien Immigration, given they have registered their address online. A comment clarifies that there is no option for a 'couple of week extension' based on marriage and emphasizes the necessity to update the TM.30 form upon each entry.
Cheers. The only question I really need answered is this:
I have done these extensions at Jomtien immigration before with no problems. However, since the rules have been enforced about reporting your address within 24hrs of arrival I have only done it once. On that occasion we had to queue for ages with everyone else and pay the fine for not doing so.
My question is this.
Now I do report every time I enter, would I still need to go through that queuing procedure or just do the extension like I used to?
if you use that online TM.30 program to register, take a screen shot of it on your phone because I don't believe there's a print function for a receipt of having done it.
