Kevin Martyn Exactly. The day immigration wants a bank statement that shows that the 800.000 has been in your account 2 months before renewal and 3 months after renewal and the other months at least 400.000.

They have just changed the rules again.

When I renewed my extension of stay last year in March they wanted a 6 months bank statement.

When I wanted a renewal on Monday they wanted a 12 months statement, so I had to go back to Bangkok bank and order a new bank statement for 12 months which took 2 days.

I went to Krabi immigration yesterday and renewed my extension of stay and the police captain told me that thai immigration is trying to stop the agents because it is illegal.

I you read the news you would know that a lot of agents have disappeared with foreigners passports and money.

Just follow the thai immigration rules.....if you are able to read.
