Tod Daniels sorry I did phrase it as a question instead of a statement. I believe I have all the rental acomm requirements. I can ask landlord if I’m missing anything.

Sorry for accidentally posting a commercial link in the last reply btw.

I can't find an outbound airline that offers a decent cancellation policy. It might be best just to buy a throw away ticket IMHO.

I got my current lease of the condo I’m renting in Bangkok. I guess they should accept that?

thanks again it seems every embassy needs proof of onward travel to be a flight and not over land crossing (bus). I guess that is the consensus?

Company is cancelling my visa for me early next month. Maybe HCM is the better one for me based just on what I’ve heard. I don’t have a “history”. Been here legit on a work visa for almost 4 years

Thanks Todd

Good I hope they are smart enough to figure out that I'm not trying to bend the rules. I just had some aquaintances recommend that I apply for tourist visa from embassy in Vientiene to get back into Thailand - but I only need 30 days so it seems a much better idea to get visa exempt.

well my pattern is quite clean. I came here on an Ed visa from thai embassy in australia to do scholarship at the uni for 12 months. That visa will expire and then I'm getting one visa exempt and then going home. I really do not see that as much suspicious

Ok yes I meant visa exempt. It's where I don't actually need to apply for a visa to stay 30 days.
