that's a terrible comment, especially as a moderator, he is completely right on all his comments, the only one I have had trouble with is some guards at the national parks will still charge you full price, I found about

Why are you doing a border run? Just go to your local immigration office, pay your 1900 baht, and get it processed while you wait 👍

Wow there seems to be a lot of misinformation on this post, even from so called moderators. If you have an employment contract with an overseas company and meet the financial thresholds, you will indeed be able to obtain a DTV. There is nothing to say you HAVE to work remotely in Thailand. All the information you require is on the 'official' Thai embassy website. I got mine 18 months ago and it was pretty straightforward, good luck 👍
