Yes but some can not afford it as their pension is not so big and prefere to wait till better days, the one who have money they dont mind to paid and most of them apply for the big 270 days visa

Asian countries are much more discipline regarding fighting the virus and protecting them self compare to other countries in Europe or other parts of the world so easy for the Thai government to see who is coming first ;)

you need to go to the Thai embassy where you are located now and let them know and they will tell you all the infos and paper work you need to get before re-entry
