could the poster take the family extension for 60 days...then get the 1 year extension after...this would move the next years extension forward by 60 days.
yup... Like most interactions with immigration, it's totally doable by ones self...I just personally find the ฿400k method easier and less time consuming since I don't have a big staff or in house accountant.
My personal experience, having tried the income method a couple of times in the beginning... was that is was just a whole lot simpler and faster to park the 400k (in my case $13k is a USD acct) and let it sit gaining interest.
There is alot more paperwork required for the income method that requires a lot more leg work to collect from a lot more sources.
