General question, has anyone run into any issues regarding renewing your passport, I suspect a few have to overcome this as the DTV is 5 years and say your passport expires in 4 yrs, what happens.

Have the Thai authorities come up with a simple solution to up load or register your new passport along side the old one which is registered in the system?

Look forward to anyone who has had to deal with this issue, surely you don’t need to make a fresh DTV application and pay another 10,000+ THB?

How long did the process take in days to approval. I was told HCMC. 5 working days starting the next working day after submission?

sorry but you can telephone them and ask them why they haven’t responded either with approval, requesting additional information or rejection? Why have you not bothered all these months, just go around to the Embassy and speak to an official, this doesn’t sound right.

You could of course just leave the country for a nice short break before the 90 days🤷🏿‍♀️, come back the clock resets to 180 days

yes but some of these groups seem to attract other long term visa applications. So you all waiting for DTV approval in London, so has anyone been approved and what was the shortest time to longest, just trying to gauge the timing so I can decide if London is the best option

I was expecting more from a DTV holder, a border run.seriously 🤦🏻‍♀️😅🙈

Or you can take a short trip weekend City break etc just before the 90 days, come back get another 180 days,etc assuming you have a DTV 🤷🏿‍♀️
