I and my sister have obtained with appointment slips and visa invitation letters. Of course we both applied separate consulates and were asked DTV is essential for us. I have explained since we have type 2 diabetes which is incurable and lifetime treatments are going on.

Treatment plans can be issued after initial assessments. We need to come every six months and blood tests would show further treatments if necessary.

Many hospitals can give you an appointment slip such as Bumrungrad, mission etc.

Bangkok Hospital is willing to give you an appointment slip but need to submit medical records.

Anonymous participant Have you checked with Thai embassies and consulate general ? My understanding is issuance of DTV is embassy or consulate not immigration. I have read in this group that a bangaladesh national submitted application of DTV but he was told that it may take two weeks.

Some countries are restricted to take long procession with more requirements.

My passport's valid till December 2026.

I have checked it out with thai consulate when I have obtained DTV. I was told that it can be done at immigration office when I have new passport.
