Not just letter showing guardianship, but also a letter granting permission to make medical decisions in case of an emergency

And that would be traveling anywhere, including the US. Can’t emphasize enough how important it is to have permission to make medical decisions

I am not surprised at the number of people who are just realizing that their passports have less than 6 months validity..people haven’t traveled for almost 2 years. And no one seems to know that most big cities have a passport office

And you can normally get same day if you bring it in first thing..need to bring copy of itinerary too

Flights between the countries are no problem…quarantine requirements have been lifted- as long as you’re vaccinated- visas are easy to get.

Haven’t checked, but pre-pandemic both Cambodia and Vietnam has evisas

It’s also airline regulations regarding unaccompanied minors…some airlines won’t take them on connecting flights, others have different age cutoffs
