My husband and I will be traveling to Thailand in January for 10 weeks. How easy is it to visit Cambodia and Vietnam when in Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Traveling to Cambodia and Vietnam from Thailand during your 10-week stay is relatively easy, with numerous flight options available and no quarantine requirements for vaccinated travelers. Both Cambodia and Vietnam offer eVisas, making entry straightforward. If you hold a 60-day Thai visa, you can potentially exit to Cambodia and re-enter Thailand later, receiving another 30 days due to visa exemptions—however, staying more than a month before leaving is advisable. For Vietnam, travelers from certain countries can enjoy visa exemptions for short stays. It's always a good idea to confirm the latest travel rules and requirements before your trip.

I flew to Vietnam 2 weeks ago the immigration did not ask me a single question. No insurance needed, no pcr test, no vaccine certificate. Only asked at the check in counter about my onwards ticket. Its like pre pandemic.

I leave Thailand in 2 days to go Vietnam…I asked at the customer service and no need for a pcr…and if you got a uk passport you get 15 days without applying for a visa…just proof of an onward flight…unless I understood wrong,

Cambodia is very easy.
Best you stay more than a month in Thailand before you leave. Then you just enter Thailand on visa exempt and get 30 days again

one needs to specify multiple or single entry, if the former; one needs to provide a reason why you're requesting a multiple entry tourist visa...
YMMV 🙃

If we have a 60 day visa are we able to go to Cambodia and simply come back to Thailand a week or two later on our same original 60 day Thailand visa? We hope to extend 30 days while there. Our flights are booked into Bangkok and departing from Bangkok back to Canada 72 days later so we would need to come back to Thailand to fly home. We need advice on how to visit the other countries for a week or two at the end of our trip (day 60-72).
. There is a half year long multi entry tourist visa ! You can stay max. 60 days in Thailand and then each entry gives you 60 day stay again. This for a half year. So if you leave Thailand just before the expire date and come back, you can almost 9 months from this visa.
as I said, 60 day tourist visa is single entry. This is the visa we are talking about in this post. You are talking about another type of tourist visa(METV). But the regular 60 day tourist visa is always single entry if you don’t buy a re-entry permit.
a 60 day tourist visa is single entry. To hop out and return again on same visa you need to buy a re-entry permit from immigration before leaving, or your visa is void when you leave. Note that leaving and entering again on your visa with a re-entry permit does not add the days you were away onto your permitted to stay-date.
If your visa states "Multi Entry" you can come and go as many times as you like during the validity of the visa, each time being stamped in for 60 days
