No doubt an unpopular comment but I’ve seen and read many requests for information. Its astonishing how many smart ass answers I see which undermines the propose of the group. Just because someone is in the know and been here along time they think it’s ok to ridicule someone’s question.

Shameful.

Did my retirement visa in udon

An officer came to the house I’m staying and took all sorts of photos, spoke to neighbours, got signatures etc.

We were not given a day or time. He rang wife in the morning and said he would arrive in 2 hours time.

Hope this helps.

Thai Airways low cost subsidiary, Thai Smile, is set to gradually wind down its operations in preparation for a merger with its parent airline in early 2024.

In 2022, Thai Smile operated a network of 16 destinations in Thailand and 14 regional destinations in Asia using A320 aircraft.

On September 5, 2023, Thai Airways International announced the takeover of nine domestic routes previously operated by its low-cost subsidiary, Thai Smile, for the winter flight schedule spanning from October 2023 to March 2024.

Suggested read THAI SMILE SAFETY

Departing from its hub at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, Thai Airways International (THAI) will provide service to Krabi (KBV), Khon Kaen (KKC), Phuket (HKT), Narathiwat (NAW), Chiang Mai (CNX), Chiang Rai (CEI), Hat Yai (HDY), Udon Thani (UTH), and Ubon Ratchathani (UBP) using A320 aircraft.

Among these nine routes, Chiang Mai, Krabi, and Phuket were previously served by both THAI and Thai Smile.

The problem is the journey time at least trebles and on and off two planes.

Ball ache for an internal flight and the only reason can be profit.

Yes I’ve done it myself before

Air Asia only seem to fly to Bangkok now

Everything else seems to only go to Bangkok as well.

I was just seeing if perhaps i’d missed something.

Seems there has been a big reorganise, everything to Bangkok!!

Pain in the arse.
