The expiration date of November 17 is when that visa had to be used by, you had to enter by that date. Then you get stamped which tells you when your entry expires. Those dates will always be different, it's the stamp expiry that matters not the visa expiry.

Can extend by 30 days at immigration, cost is 1900 baht. Alternatively you can cross the border and come back in and get another 60 day stamp.

So the IO reckons there's no issue flying into Thailand with visa exemption many times a year, what does he think this is 2014...
