Definitely sounds like a scam 🤣

Supposed to, even for domestic travel. As you’re hearing in these comments, some officers or offices might not care until you’re up for a renewal of your stay permit. I understand what they are saying, but that’s going to depend on the immigration officer and when they find out you didn’t re-register. It doesn’t take much time, so why not do it?

When I got mu visa I stayed in Georgetown. I could not get the visa back on the same day. Hat Yai is fun; vans run from there to Penang.
