Cheaper and much quicker to get on a rubber boat at Calais, it's free travel, free hotel, free food and you don't need any health insurance once you arrive that's free as well.

It depends how much aircon you use and wether you pay government rates or Condo management rates, 5000 baht would be the Condo Management, government rate more like 1500 to 2000 baht.

I take my Thai solicitor, and my agents advice. We import only small private pensions and standard government pensions from the UK, thanks for you reply.

I have been advised by a Thai solicitor to do nothing until legislation is passed into law, I and my wife, are both retired and on O visa and import pensions money only from the UK.

You most likely get stamped in now for 60 days not 30 as it was before ! so why get a tourist visa ?

The transport office in Pranburi is ideal, it's even easier if you have a Thai speaker with you, with the IDL you won't have to sit and watch the film on how to ride or drive !!!
