@Nelly *****
it's been some years but the lady that open my acct was very through with tax forms and regulations. I am surprised that there is even an issue with the banks. Maybe I am missing something and some lady posted about not forgetting you tax id number. Well your tax id is your SSN unless if she is referring to w2 tax id? Which the bank wouldn't be asking since that is for Americans filing taxes on the US. It's one reason I hate to keep any money in my Thai because people always adding to the confusion about money being taxed. I am on military pension so I know they can't tax it. It's not income earned in Thailand so I try not to think to much bit it is Thailand. They do kind of make up rules as they go.

Don't most banks have you fill out the proper forms when you open an account. I remember 5 years ago Bangkok bank filled out a ton of tax forms relating to the United States.

I hope so but in the last 5 years this is the first time I have even seen them basically fuck over agent's ability to make a living. And Thailand wonders why their neighbors don't want them running the new visa system like Europe.

I quess your missing the point that with these new crack down and new immigration laws that they are pushing people away from their family. If I am forced to leave than so is my support for all the people I support. I won't continue from a far. I will support My wife and that's it. There is consequences for their actions. They are not hurting me, they are only hurting thais with their stupid policy that change by the mood of the day

non sense of that was really the case every single visa holder would have mandatory insurance or same amount banked. Hospital don't give a shit what visa you have. An emergency fund would be the same across the board. There is no rationale to
*****
0 for retirement visa but no the same for other visa. I married visa is only half. You have more financial responsibility being married and don't give some shit answer that the wife works and contributes. That's a small percentage, but only need

0 and it's not locked up for half a year. Balance can go to zero if you wish. Only 60 days. I can debate you all day long on the rationale

@David ****
that has nothing to do with visa and funding policies. You really think people that are forced to leave feel relieved that they can send money Tru wise. Everyone was probably already doing that before they even came to Thailand.

@Nongnuch *******
if that was truly the case they would make you have insurance like during COVID and it would be the same for any visa. If your sick your sick, hospital bill don't change due to type of visa. It's not logical what you think.

@Steve ******
true, I just airport because there is a million stores and most speak English if you need help. It takes forever just to order a cup of coffee at

. I couldn't imagine getting any real help. Thai people have perfected the art of slow moving 555. Sure not like

in the States. The move people out like cattle

They are helping their neighboring countries by pushing the hand that feeds them...so what I am reading the people that used agency to fund the money for retirement probably won't be able to renew with the agency...what is disturbing is they disrupt Thai families that rely on financial help from farang husband's.
