You have your visa b/c of your bank account…silly to stop retirement visa…you are still living in thailand PT,,,if you are trying to save a few pesos, you are the classic case of penny wise pound foolish
90 days is 90 days so the answer is no…the purpose is to either visit family or apply for an annual extension…you soon will become a red flag to immigration trying to manipulate the original purpose of your visa…they will soon see your shell game strategy down the road
if you are spending 6 months in any one place you are living there…you should get the retirement visa to verify your stay…this is called part time living not a holiday
