Steve James at what point did you ask for the certificate? Why wouldn’t you just put the money in, at the 2-3 months prior date, and then ask for the 2 letters I mentioned, later when you need them?

I’ve never seen this ‘pledging’ before with Bangkok bank. I just deposit in a normal account and make sure the balance doesn’t go below for 2 months. Then get a statement (100 bht) and letter stating current balance ( +100bht) on day that I lodge renewal. The ‘pledging’ makes it sound like a term deposit.. do they pay interest like a term deposit? (💸🤣 .. as if)

Clear as mud. Suppose someone who is resident (not me) earns 20,000 currency units outside of Thailand, has long term savings of 50,000 units, and remits 10,000 to Thailand. Who is to say whether that is last years income or historical savings?

( nb . anyone who says ‘go see an accountant’ is obviously a paid adviser looking for a mark)

A 4.2kW heater can heat water by 10 degC at C a flow rate of 6 litres/minute. When the water coming out of the pipe is cold, or your heater is less than this rate, you can only get a mildly hot trickle.

also the poster.. note handwritten additions .

I’ve been doing extensions for more than 5 years now at Chiang Mai, and every time I bring in the paperwork based on last years requirement plus on line check for update, there’s still at least one of the 20-30 pp that I have to change or add more info to.

I’m hoping that one day it might be possible to pre-fill the forms on line …. one day.
