I would apply well ahead of time for a 2 entry tourist visa and get the 30 extension for each. Gives you 180 days. I received a 3 entry tourist visa in 2006, but my understanding is that the 3 entry is no longer available.

My Thai wife owns a house here, when we moved to Thailand I just used her address for my non O visa and bank account. I know nothing about a family book or lease, yellow book or ID card.

I made a cash deposit 3 years ago for my nonO visa, I leave the money there an do not add any monies to it. No visa issues and no taxes.

Simple don’t deposit your funds into a Thai bank.

It shouldn’t matter, I opened mine with cash, no question as to where the money came from.

I use K bank 3 years no problems. I also have 2 debit cards from US banks where most of my money is.

Get a tourist visa from the Thai consulate in your home country before leaving. I normally get a 2 entry tourist visa. Gives me 180 days if I get the 30 day extensions

I never had it happen even when entering without a visa on a one way ticket. I’m sure that a 1000 baht bribe would solve any problem with immigration.

I have bought a one way ticket many times. If asked tell them that you are leaving the Kingdom overland by way of Cambodia or Laos
