Right, I see what you mean. They serve traditional Thai food like burgers and pizza there. Not at all like America. They have clubs and pubs just like the rest of Thailand. Thai people speak English there and we all know that all Thai people speak English just like in America. Women dressed in traditional Thai outfits which are skimpy cocktail dresses. So yes, I see your point now.
Make sure that you actually visit Thailand and not what Thailand has built for you to feel like you're still in America or Europe ( Sukhumvit area, Pattaya, Phuket ). Most foreigners never actually visit real Thailand.
I got a great insurance. It's a must if you want good healthcare. Remember, they do do pre-existing condition exclusion so the faster you get on a plan the more it'll cover.
I'm a little confused. I thought when I enter without a visa I only get 30 days automatically and then I can extend it to 30 more days before I have to do a border run. Isn't that correct?
so essentially since I can stay for 30+30 days with a free tourist visa anyway and the multi-entry one requires me to leave every 60 days, this is essentially the same thing, right?
I already have my ticket booked for June 8th. When do you recommend I apply for the visa? Also is it true that on the last day of validity of the visa you can still get 60 days in the country so essentially making it an 8-month visa?
