Can anyone speak to the multi-entry visa from the US for 6 months? Any nuances or alternatives?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The multi-entry visa from the US allows for multiple entries into Thailand over a 6-month period. It has been straightforward for users, although some have experienced limitations during COVID-19. It's important to plan ahead, as days start to be counted once the visa is stamped in the passport, so it's advisable to book travel tickets promptly.

Once it’s put in your passport you start losing days on the visa…so have your ticket booked as soon you receive it
I already have my ticket booked for June 8th. When do you recommend I apply for the visa? Also is it true that on the last day of validity of the visa you can still get 60 days in the country so essentially making it an 8-month visa?
as close to your departure date as possible it takes around 3 business days to process thx visa minus your countries holidays and Thai holidays so keep track of that…yes you can get an additional 3 months on the visa but not in country you will have to do a strategic border Bounce before it expires…you also can’t stay in country longer than 90 days at a time so you will have to do 2 strategic border bounces either by air or Land….FYI if you do land border bounces with the visa it does not count against your 2 land border bounces per calendar year…enjoy

I’ve gotten 4 of them over the past 4 or so years. Once during Covi it wasn’t an option. What’s your question. Pretty straight forward.
I like it because I can travel out of country with my fiancé and return without issue.
