Why is it so difficult for LTR visa holders to open bank accounts in Thailand?

Just opened 2 bank accounts Kasikorn and Krungsri and closed Bangkok Bank account on my Non O retirement visa go figure

Went to BB 4th July to show printed form from AIS to validate name to mobile number to bank account alp good after walking out of bank come the 8th July locked out of bank account will withdraw monies and f**k them off
