Same here. The hard part is filling out the forms and making all the copies of the required attachments. πŸ˜’

No, I made no assumptions. πŸ˜„ I had just never heard of a consideration stamp but I guess they make sense with employment or marriage visas. We just have to show proof of our residence with photos of the villa and us in front, that sort of thing.

No, what would be "under consideration"? They review everything during the interview and if it is all okay it is approved. In 12 years we've never had a "under consideration" stamp.

We usually get the bank letters the day before we go to immigration. The next day we present our request package and get the extension immediately.

Yes, I guess because the printout would look just like the passbook pages.

In my case the passbook shows every transaction. I don’t use the account and the opening balance plus the posted interest equals the ending balance which agrees with the bank letter.

My account is a passbook saving account and they have always accepted just copies of the pages going back 12 months along with the bank letter regarding the ending balance.

Correct, we changed from OA to O but we had the 800k in our Thai bank for the required time.

What do you mean "cannot be changed in Thailand"? For an O/A you just need to show you have substantial assets in your home country.
