Tod, when we lived in the big mango, you were our god of visas. We couldn’t have survived the challenges of Thailand without your guidance. That being said, yes it can get overwhelming when social media folks go after you. Take care of your self and your sanity as you consider the help you offer others. It would be a shame to loose your knowledge.

Do I read this correctly: your 90 falls on April 4, but you leave on April1…no need to do 90day. If otherway around yes do 90 day.

I can’t help you I’m sorry but be careful telling them you are working remotely... I can cause issues with needing a work permit.

if I remember correctly the new extension would only be good until current expiration of passport so if you want a whole year you should get new passport first then get new extension.

A re entry permit basically puts your visa on “hold” until you come back into the country as long as you come back in before the expiration date on the original visa (as I understand it)

My understanding is the RE-ENTRY very near that first expiration date is the needed to gain the 2nd year. (And remember to get a re entry permit if you plan to exit and return that second year.)
