Anonymous participant I suspect the 500k must be there when you apply. For our retire visa's we need 800k when we apply and must be there for 1 year to get a renewal.

For the ED visa, Imm did visit schools and gave students tests to see they actually attended. Some where deported. Remains to be seen how they will monitor these DTV.

never heard of that, why would you do it when there are ATM machines. If this is an attempt to bring money into TH without paying taxes, it won't work.

 the requirements are changing all the time. I have a retiree visa, I have a bank account. If u have a WP you will probably get an account, DTV does not give WP.You need some visa status to get an acc, ypou do not get a visa at the airport on arrival.
