TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has an extension of stay in Thailand until June 2024 but is concerned about renewing their UK passport, which may take up to four months. They inquire if they can still complete their 90-day report without having the renewed passport. According to multiple comments, it's possible to conduct the 90-day report online or by mail without the new passport, as the old passport remains valid for identification purposes during the renewal process. A photocopy of the current passport pages may suffice for reporting.

Why are you worried when you apply for the new passport here in Thailand

You keep the old one until your new one comes to Thailand

Once your new passport comes through you will be given a form for fill in and sign

You also need a form from the thai immigration website to fill in and sign

You have to do a full colour copy of both of the passport's

And be warned that the thai immigration in BKK will also ask you for your bank book and a copy of the statement for the year

All depends on your bank but you will need to ask your bank how long it will take

Good luck I lost my tamper with them

A straightforward passport renewal took less than 4 weeks at Christmas.

Just photo copy your front page with the photo and the page with the visa stamp, that's enough for your 90 day report, it took me 25 weeks from the UK

Try doing it online, if it doesn't work, do it by mail. You don't need passport for either

If you renew a UK passport in Thailand you keep the old one for ID purposes, and you can still do 90-day reports.

If you do the new passport with an agent you get your passport back and can do... Or do online.. Easy

You can do 90 day report online, but not the first one.

So do your first 90 day reports, test the next one online, then renew the passport early next year.

You can do the 90 day report online. Or if that doesn't work and you miss it, just ignore it until the next time you use immigration and pay the 2000₿ fine
