Just to say my story if it can help. I'm studying in a private school. Really study means at least 8 hours a week, sometimes more. My school is one of the most famous and one of the most expensive (language Express at Mo Chit) My study should normally end up in the end of December (paid 55k for 14 months). I normally had to go out of country in June to extend my visa but can't... Since then no matter how much I insisted to the school or to the immigration I'm considered as a guy who entered the country with a tourist visa or just a stamp... I even brought a letter from my embassy asking the immigration to let me stay in the country to finish my studies. No effect or no more than any other embassy letter from people who are in a tourist visa. Therefore the school was closed during an extended time so I have a bunch of hours left that I can't even use and because i stopped study too. All the schedule change because of covid. and it's now quite difficult to go to the class for me. Therefore the school what not helpful, just extended me to March for the time the school was closed but no visa so... So my advice for you is just... Good luck... And for those who think to get an ED visa in these unsure times I would say don't expect much.... And if you can pay in several times just in case something happen. Too much people use these visa just to be in Thailand ad never go to school....i guess everybody put you in this same basket. No matter if you study or not.
