Like stop signs, Thais do not obey road law as this despite Thai road law being equal to that in western countries.. It all gets back to little or no enforcement..

Yes it cost me plenty as I had to go to Laos and get another 3 month Non 'O' visa wait 2 months then reapply using my standard bank account (blue book)..

Nakhon Phanom Immigration mate, I had a Bangkok Bank fixed term deposit which they refused to accept.

They refused my fixed term bank account..I had to open another account as they said the money must be accessible..

Have just read the Immigration Act re 90 Day Reports and unfortunately all must report to the closest office to their place of abode..Thanks Tod as I will have to bear that in mind when away on holidays in July...
