May I ask, does your husband speak Thai? Did he have any trouble communicating? Maybe they told me I needed someone because I don't speak Thai.

I stayed at Sumkumvit Hospital on 2 separate occasions and they told me I have to have someone with me. I guess it depends on the hospital then. Thank you so much for your answers.
