compared to all the other visas(Ed, tourist) a bargain, don't need to leave the country, no expenses for flights hotels etc, just stay here and lay back.

I went on that agency route and it was the best decision, they take care of everything, residency certificate, reports, extension and so on... And that's by far the cheapest way for someone who wants to stay here long term anyway, the yearly cost of all that magic comes down to 95baht per day... Cheaper than anything else.

Get a volunteer visa, everything else is a pain in the arse and not worth the money.

Just a update on my case, received passport with valid REAL visa! In my eyes every bath worth it

I didn't contact them as I don't want to bother them around at this time, I just followed up their post, I personally think there are a lot of fake news about this case. I have a friend and she's with them several years and never had any issues. I went to their office to drop my documents and the payment about 3 weeks ago and they seemed very professional, not dodgy at all. So I guess just wait a few days for the dust to settle and than give them a call... In this country everything is possible..

My passport is also with them... I think everything will be alright and sorted out, just be optimistic.

Ah well, it gives me a bit of a headache when I saw it as my passport is with them..but will see the outcome, just staying calm and keep living the dream...I'm sure they will sort it out.

Where the hell to go?? Home-country is not an option for me😞
