I can tell you now in April (Songkran) will be crowded at allot places.

Tourists and specially people who want to see or use prostitution will be at same places, no matter year or month. If not, then no it’s not noticeable with allot tourists.

We do go on vacation to like Pattaya, Jomtien, HuaHin aso but stay at hotels that is more expensive, actually see more Asians then problem tourists.

We had a plan to visit LA, Canada and Hawaii.

My wife used a company to do the visa, as I understood that they also have a travel agency and provide the correct documents, or as I saw it a manual for how to do the visa. It’s was allot of pages and documents to provide but after she been at embassy aso she told me. They didn’t ask all that, it’s was easy to do.

You need to look at IM or school has that information. It’s been a few years I went to school here and they changed the rules during that time.

But I learned that the stamp, name of school/department has to be correct. Otherwise they don’t accept the extension. They also extended the amount of hours I had to attend.

Me my self made up my mind during 6 months, from February to end of July I filled my bags and left. Still here 😆 never regretted my choice. Off course allot things can be strange and new but it’s just overcome and fix, married eventually and got a son (now 9). Worked for a few years but actually before I went to school and learned the language ;)

Now it’s retirement, travel around Thailand and to other countries for fun.

Take my son to school and pick him up, enjoy the life as it comes 😂 I’m not rich, I’m not poor and can live of a few baht per day 😂
