Flying out of country is a good option. Extension is 50€. You can get one way flight to Phu Quoc with same price and get re-stamped with 45 days.

And you're in Bangkok already, so why not. I think that flight was 1h 20min

Note that flight from Bangkok to Europe tends to be more expensive.

In Thailand Chiang Mai I found that booking in person is the best.

In Vietnam Phu Quoc, I'm getting better offers from Agoda. Maybe its because of double pricing for locals...?

I paid 500k VND for a room, now they sell it for 300k in Agoda. Also booking com "partner offer" is giving it for 300k. It's a little annoying because I was the only customer there, maybe they lower price to not be fully empty.

So I don't know, is Agoda a sneaky way for local population to get good deals? 😬

They stamped me 30 days VISA-exempt to travel Phu Quoc only. Can't enter mainland with this VISA. I would have gotten 15 days if I would have entered mainland first.

But maybe you know this already.

Phu Quoc is pretty cool island, worth seeing.
