is it a different visa then? It doesn’t have to be in SEAsia, it would be for a persons home/resident country. When I was first considering moving to Thailand an attorney wrote an invitation letter for me explaining to the embassy I was exploring business opportunities in Thailand, I actually got that visa in Singapore at that time-was about 5 years ago.

that’s incorrect, it’s very common for people to get this non b for 3 months before obtaining their work permit.

This link is the type of letter I’m looking for, but need a copy of one that is updated and used successfully then. It’s basically a letter you can use to invite someone to come to Thailand to explore job and work opportunities, there is not a work permit required for this.

I understand what you mean, but I’m not understanding why it would make a difference as it doesn’t extend the visa

That’s a good idea, I’m afraid it might not work in this situation as it’s for a client and they will be given a temp work permit, I have a feeling this visa may prohibit Labour dept from issuing it.
