I had to pay a 2,000 baht fine for my late 90 day report on my ED visa. Many people at my university did as well.

okay noted, Thanks! I did need proof of funds at the Thai consulate but have never needed it to extend.

not even for a brand new ED visa? I’m here on one too and have toyed with the thought of transferring unis

Hey, I’m a student here too. I’m fairly confident that we would need to leave and re-enter for a work visa
