ah I understand, that makes sense. The schools Visa assistant had said I'd get 1 year but she is quite new to the job so must have just got wires crossed. Thanks for clearing that up.

it depends on so much. In my current house I pay about 5k for large 3 bedroom house, and we love our AC. In my last place it way waaaay more as the house wasn’t well designed.

Not getting full health insurance. Many of the long stays I’d met early on said don’t bother, treatment is so cheap. Well it is, until it isn’t 😵‍💫
