it’s just so annoying that they can randomly impose this rule, even though there’s no clear rules or laws atm but then soon as you stay 180 days or more it’s enforced at any moment

is it possible they would note this down then ask to see the cash again when you depart? If you come in with 20k then leave with zero would they not give you a tough time? Or maybe they don’t take notes like that, not sure

how are you going to handle becoming a tax resident if you stay longer than 180 days ? Really looking for anyone who has any experience or info about this. I’m Australian I know they have a DTA but wondering how it will work

Just had the same thing a few minutes ago. Showed them the DTV and then was interrogated with a million questions about what I’m doing here and why, where I’m staying and who with etc. not a great first impression with this visa with how they treat you

For the 6 month statements I just pulled the most recent 4 month statements from both my accounts and attached a cover letter detailing the total amounts from both accounts

These are the exact questions I was asked a week ago. Use chat gpt to write your cover letter and information and company mission etc. for 2023 financials include the tax return with notes about deductions, profit loss etc.

it’s not grammar, it’s a completely different thing, thinking it’s something you have to renew after 6 months is wrong, you don’t understand what the DTV is. Anyone who’s applied for the DTV is not going to stay only 180 days then leave. The whole reason people apply for a multi entry visa is so they can stay much longer, people border bounce for one day then come back. But anyway, you’ve been given sources and still crying so think whatever u want, not gonna argue with someone who thinks you have to renew the DTV after 6 months and that people are only gonna stay 6 months 😂 🤷‍♂️

“without leaving or renewal” lol you don’t even know the correct terms yourself. You do not “renew” the DTV, after 6 months, you can EXTEND it 😂 or leave the country
