Is this your assumption or you know the legal basis of it? I am curious. For example, in Indonesia, you can promote your company but you are not allowed to conduct a business transaction - that would have to go through an overseas entity.
In Poland - current balance. I've had money in my account for a long time, but my bank doesn't provide statements in English, and they requested an English version. I transferred money to another bank account and provided a statement a minute after.
Just ask the embassy or consulate - I have a very good experience with the embassy in my country, I called them a couple of times about different visas in the past, and they were always very helpful.
Thailand offers free tourist insurance up to 500,000 baht, but I haven’t looked into the conditions. I use Revolut for the first three months of my stay and then will probably switch to Safety Wings, which I did last time.
I don’t think you can get this visa if you’re not in your home country. So it’s convenient if you’re applying from Europe or US, but it’s not available under the same terms when you’re already in Asia.
